Outstanding achievement and success through sustainable business practice

We do what we do because we don't want our children or our children's children to face a world where plastic pollution and breakdown is a major environmental threat.
Dr Ross Headifen and John Mancarella, Fieldtech Solutions, Port Melbourne

About the business

The overuse of plastic is a serious environmental problem right across the world.
Fieldtech Solutions design, manufacture and supply custom-made plastic products that conventionally were often only used once, then sent to landfill. Their innovative work was acknowledged in 2014 as winner of the Innovative Products or Services category of the Victorian Premier's Sustainability Awards.
Fieldtech Solutions' clients can be found all over Australia in the contaminated land, drilling, and environmental sectors.

'There are millions of tons of plastic disposed of every year,' says Director, John Mancarella.

'We are trying to make a real difference for ourselves and our clients with a responsible, ethical solution.  Lots of companies claim to have sustainability as a core value but we actually practice what we preach.'
