Growing your business while helping those in need

We like being part of a young, cutting edge industry that's in a position to give back to people who may be going through tough times.
Ben Wilson, Web Force 5, South Melbourne

About the business

Web Force 5 makes powerful websites which are extremely affordable, easy to use and contain all of the functions a typical small business needs.

While the team does this for a range of corporate, government and professional association clients, director Ben Wilson says that not-for-profits are where their hearts lie.

'We work for a spectrum of charities that are important to us personally. Organisations like Tee Up for Kids, Disability Advocacy Victoria, DayHab for victims of addiction, Mums and Dads in Distress and some cancer groups,' he says.

The company also donates significant resources to charities each year.

Web Force 5 staff have undertaken the Grow Your Business program through Small Business Victoria.  Ben says that the 'rigour and thoroughness of the program was instrumental in us creating a clear, achievable picture of where we wanted to go and how we are going to get there.'

'Web Force 5 offers a uniquely engaging and beneficial service to our clients, but that's not enough. We want to also do something that is meaningful and practically helpful for people who most need it. And that's a pretty good feeling.'
