Connect 2015 is the ICT industry’s premier emerging technology trade show, with more than 140 exhibitors and 3000 visitors expected to attend the two-day event.

The show attracts Australian and international speakers with expertise in global technology trends and how they impact on business, government and society.

ICT is an essential part of a modern, globally-connected economy and Connect 2015 highlights how new technologies will link up in the future and change the way we do business.

The ICT sector provides significant economic growth and jobs to Victoria, with revenues of $34 billion and exports of $2.5 billion annually.

As a major sponsor of Connect 2015, the Andrews Labor Government is encouraging collaboration between industry and government to further drive the ICT sector.

The Labor Government last month announced it will develop a new ICT Industry strategy to address widening demand for ICT products and services, access to ICT skills and high speed broadband.

Connect 2015 will be held today and tomorrow at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
