Small Business Retail Regulation Review
Cutting red tape and reducing regulatory burden on small business is a priority for the Victorian Government. To help achieve this, the Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources is leading a review of regulation impacting on small business retailers.
The review will target small retailers’ problems with regulation – activities like getting your planning permits, getting approval to put up a sign, preparing a food safety plan or complying with workplace safety laws.
Small business owners and stakeholders can comment on the key regulatory issues affecting the growth of their businesses through the website or at one of the industry roundtables being held during August (check website for details).
