EMS Terms and Conditions

Use of the Business Victoria Events System booking service and website by you ("the Customer") is subject to the following terms and conditions:

1. Bookings made to an event by you the Customer are made on behalf of the event provider.  As the Customer, you agree that the event provider is the only one responsible to deliver the service you book . Business Victoria is not liable for default by the event provider.
2. The Customer acknowledges a third party ("Card Authoriser") will process the credit card transactions needed to make a booking.  The Customer agrees that Business Victoria is not liable if the Card Authoriser does not process the card payment.
3. The Customer agrees to pay to the event provider by debit to the Customer's credit card account the specified cost of the event.  All fees are GST inclusive.  The Business Victoria Event System will issue the Customer with a valid Tax Invoice in respect of this booking service.
4. The information in the Business Victoria Event System is based on information supplied by each event provider.  While Business Victoria will use all reasonable means to make sure the information is accurate, Business Victoria make’s no guarantee the information is free from errors or faults and shall not be held liable for any errors or omissions.
5. Business Victoria pays no commissions to the event providers using this event booking service.
6. Business Victoria makes no warranty or representation about the suitability of any product or service being advertised on its website.
7. Business Victoria reserves the right to change information published on its website at any time.
8. Business Victoria respects your privacy and will only use or disclose your information in accordance with the Information Privacy Act 2000 (Vic.).
9. If you wish to make a booking, the name of the booking attendees can be supplied to the event provider for organising purposes (e.g. nametags). Business Victoria does not sell or rent customer personal information. Please read our Privacy Policy. 
10. These terms and conditions do not affect your federal or state statutory rights.
11. Payments will be processed in Australian dollars.
