Invest Victoria can provide a range of free and confidential services to your company designed to make investing and re-investing in Victoria as simple as possible.
These services include:
- working with your company in your market, through one of Invest Victoria's 11 international business offices
- arranging itineraries and programs for prospective investors visiting Melbourne with relevant contacts and introductions
- providing information on Australian and Victorian market conditions and identifying partners or client groups
- identifying suitable local suppliers and service providers, helping with employee recruitment and providing training assistance
Invest Victoria also provides assistance to Victorian companies looking to develop export opportunities, through its Access America, Access China and Access Middle East programs.

Invest Assist (Investment Facilitation)
Invest Assist provides a solutions-based approach to facilitation and management of investment projects across all industry sectors, and plays a key role in coordinating whole-of-Government input, particularly to those projects requiring extensive negotiation and cross-Government coordination.
The following assistance and services are offered to clients:
- specialist advice on development approvals: helping you to understand the development approvals process in Victoria and providing specific advice on licence and permit requirements for your project.
- statutory approvals coordination: coordination of the full range of state, federal and local government approvals. Assistance is provided with planning, development, environmental, health and safety approvals and other regulatory controls.
- site location: identifying greenfield or existing site options based on your specific business requirements. Whether you are seeking to invest in metropolitan or provincial Victoria, site options will be tailored to your needs. This service is provided on a confidential basis.
- infrastructure and utility requirements: provision and cost of access to business infrastructure, including access to electricity, gas, water and transport requirements.
- investment climate advice: provision of advice to parties both internal and external to Government as well as advocacy on issues affecting various aspects of the investment climate (e.g. development approvals policies, environmental regulations, etc).
- continuing client support: provision of a solutions-based approach to your ongoing business needs.
