The Australian Institute of Food Science and Technology is a national association representing individuals from all sectors of the Australian food and allied industries, giving them exposure to all aspects of the agrifood sector.
The Australian Institute of Packaging is the professional body for packaging technologists and other individuals involved with the packaging industry throughout Australasia. The primary function of the Institute is to offer education and technical training for its members as well as cross-functional networking opportunities.

FMCA is recognised as a strong and influential voice within the milling and associated grains industries. It fulfills a number of key functions which include; promoting the interests of and communicating on behalf of, the flour milling industry in Australia to government, statutory authorities and other relevant organisations, breeders, growers and participants in the grains supply chain. FMCA also administers milling correspondence courses for Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Fiji and the Solomon Islands.
The primary aim of FTA Victoria is to promote the development of the food industry in Australia. It is the major Victorian company food industry body, although its members do have interests throughout Australia. The membership ranges from small individual Companies to some of the biggest manufacturers in the State. FTA VIC runs technical workshops, courses and networking events, and has an eminent Technical Committee which reviews and comments on proposed or amended Food Legislation on behalf of its members.
OFA is the peak body for the organic industry in Australia. Their role is to work in co-operation with all sectors of industry and government to develop the Australian Organic Industry from a niche industry into a major component of Australian and deliver benefits to consumers, producers and the Australian environment.

Seafood Industry Victoria is a non-profit organisation whose members are involved in the harvesting, processing, wholesaling, retailing and exporting of seafood in Victoria. Seafood Industry Victoria is the officially recognised peak body for the commercial fishing industry. In our capacity as the peak body we liaise with State government, media, environmental groups and other marine stakeholders on behalf of our member's best interests. The major role of the Seafood Industry Victoria is to disseminate the flow of information from these groups to industry and provide appropriate responses.

The Victorian Airfreight Council (VAC) has been established to provide a means for companies and individuals in Victoria to voice opinions, discuss issues and make representations to airlines, regulatory authorities and Governments on issues affecting the airfreight industry locally and nationally. Its membership of around 200 is drawn from Exporters, Importers, Federal and State Government Departments, Regulatory Authorities, International and Domestic Airfreight Forwarders, Airlines, Cargo Terminal Operators and a variety of other suppliers and interested individuals. The VFITB is the peak advisory body on matters relating to training and education in the food, wine, beverage and pharmaceutical industries in Victoria. It provides advice on training issues to interested parties and promotes the importance and quality of training in the industry.
