All exporters of wine must be licensed by the Australian Wine and Brandy Corporation (AWBC). The AWBC issues export licences to ensure that Australian wine exports meet health and labelling standards. In addition, an export permit issued by AWBC is required for individual export shipments of more than 100 litres.
