Victoriaworks for Parents Returning to Work

Project Aim

Victoriaworks for parents returning to work is a $13.2 million package of grants allocated over four years to support parents to return to the workforce. Grants help meet the costs associated with retraining such as, books and materials, course fees, transport and childcare.

Nature of Assistance

There are two grant streams available:

Victoriaworks for parents returning to workUniversal Access grants provide the opportunity for parents to apply for a $1000 grant directly.

Please check the Returning to Earning website for availability of Universal Access grants.

Victoriaworks for parents returning to work - Community Access grants of up to $1000 per parent are available to employers, industry bodies and associations, unions, local government, employment service providers, training providers and community organisations wishing to support parents to return to work.

A number of the Victoriaworks for parents returning to work grants are targeted to parents in drought affected areas and areas of high unemployment.

Community Access Grants are currently closed.
